Vintage USGI M-1956 LCE Suspenders

This is a genuine U.S. Military M-1956 Load Carrying Equipment suspender set. These are dated 1980 and are made from heavy-duty olive drab cotton canvas webbing with metal hardware.

The M-1956 LCE system was used with U.S. military field gear and load-bearing equipment before and alongside later ALICE-style gear. These suspenders are a good piece for military surplus collecting, Vietnam/Cold War era displays, reenactment setups, or replacement field gear.
