Up for sale is a genuine vintage US Military Night Desert Camouflage Parka, commonly known as the DNC Parka. This jacket is in near new, excellent condition and appears to be from a 1984 military contract based on the contract number shown on the tag.
The Desert Night Camouflage pattern was originally developed for use in desert environments and was designed to help reduce visibility during nighttime operations. Today, the DNC grid pattern has become very collectible and popular for outdoor use, surplus collectors, streetwear, layering, and field wear.
This is the classic fishtail-style night camouflage parka with a drawstring hood, button front closure, and buttoned pocket openings that allow access to clothing or gear worn underneath.
