Rare experimental US Army trial-test Jungle Army Combat Uniform trousers in the original Operation Enduring Freedom Camouflage Pattern, commonly called OEF Multicam.
These lightweight trousers were produced for Army jungle and hot-weather uniform testing before the adoption of the later Improved Hot Weather Combat Uniform. The thin, breathable fabric has a soft feel similar to lightweight scrub material and was intended for improved comfort in hot, humid environments.
The original interior label is heavily faded but still shows the designation “Trouser, Jungle, Army Combat Uniform.” These are uncommon developmental military trousers intended for testing rather than standard widespread issue.
